Sunday Run

ABOUT LFRC

The Los Feliz Running Club began as a simple idea shared between two friends, Warren and Bree — both united by a deep love for health, wellness, community, and connection. What started as a casual way to stay active soon blossomed into something far more meaningful.

Meeting for early runs in the hills of Los Feliz, they quickly discovered the power of consistency, encouragement, and shared purpose. To open the circle wider, they created a website and launched an Instagram page, inviting runners of all levels — from complete beginners to seasoned athletes — to join. With a few posts and word of mouth, what started as two runners became ten, then twenty, and soon a growing, supportive community.

The Los Feliz Running Club is now more than just a weekly meetup — it’s a thriving hub of energy, friendship, and transformation. Runners have shown up not only to log miles, but to change their lives. We’ve seen people reach personal bests, train for their first races, recover from setbacks, and form friendships that extend well beyond the trail.

At its heart, the club remains true to its founding spirit: creating space for wellness, connection, and a deeper sense of belonging in one of LA's most vibrant neighborhoods. This community has already changed lives — and we’re just getting started.

ABOUT OUR SUNDAY RUNS

Where:
We meet at Franklin's Café in Los Feliz and head out from there. The route takes us through Griffith Park, primarily on beautiful, shaded trails.

When:
Every Sunday at 8:00 AM

Distance & Format:
Runs range from 3.5 to 6 miles depending on the group and pace.

  • On the first Sunday of each month, we switch things up with a Fitness + Run Duo Workout, which includes:

    • Stairs

    • Bodyweight exercises like jumping jacks, push-ups, and lunges

After the Run:
We cool down and hang out back at Franklin’s Café. It’s a great time to connect, share stories, and enjoy coffee together with a view of the Los Feliz hills.

Important Reminders:

  • Wear proper trail-running shoes

  • Make time to stretch before we start

  • Don’t forget some sunscreen :)
